From downtown Washington D.C.:
- Head south on 14th street to the 14th Street bridge that crosses the Potomac River into Virginia.
- Continue south on the bridge over the Potomac River to Virginia. On the bridge stay in the right lane.
- Immediately on the Virginia side of the bridge (be alert) exit onto the George Washington Parkway heading south towards National Airport and Alexandria, VA. (Look for G. W. parkway and/or National Airport Signs.)
- Follow directions "From G.W. Parkway" (see below).
From Virginia and all points south of D.C.:
- Take 1-395 North up to the 14th Street Bridge.
- Do not cross the bridge. Just before the bridge exit onto the G.W. parkway (Exit 10) heading south to National Airport and Alexandria, Virginia.
- Follow directions "From G.W. Parkway" (see below).
From G.W. Parkway:
- Head south on the G.W. Parkway not quite a mile to National Airport. While heading south you should be able to see the fields on your left; however, to get to the fields you must circle back on G.W. Parkway.
(NOTE: Use National Airport entrance/exit to get on G.W. Parkway heading North).
- Taking the G.W. Parkway north, you will pass the end of National Airport, and take the next exit into Gravelly Point.
** Location on the Virginia side of the Potomac River across from downtown DC. (The field is right along the Potomac river just north of the runway at National Airport.)
